This is a basic 2/4 country song in the key of G.  Use the G major and major pentatonic scale to come up with some cool country solos.  You may also use the Gm pentatonic scale to make sound extra bluesy.  Have fun with it!  If you are a more advanced musician, practice using arpeggios to create your solos.
Here are the individual notes of each chord that you would use to play an arpeggio:

G7 = G - B - D - F

C9 = C - E - G - Bb - D

D7 = D - F# - A - C

The format is just a basic 12 bar blues.  These 12 bars are repeated over and over again.  On the last time through the last four measures are tagged.  The song ends on G.
