Learn the Piano the Classical Way

The classical approach is what piano teachers have used for years in piano instruction. With this approach, students learn how to read music, as well as proper technique and form. The curriculum we use comes form the Alfred's Piano Library. These books are full of fun and familiar songs, for all ages. We recommend starting out with this method when possible, especially for young children.

Learning the Piano the Modern Way

Another method we offer that many piano teachers do not is what we call the "modern" approach to piano. With this method you learn to play the piano as more of an accompanying instrument, rather than a solo one. Basically you will learn chords, fill-ins, and various rhythm patterns that can be used in tons of songs. This is a great way to learn if you are looking to play in a praise and worship band.
